While I was going through facebook groups I came across one called “Modest is the Hottest” I don’t think these people understand the difference between a woman with confidence and a prostitute.

Someone comments “Modesty is always in style” … Maybe in the 1800′s. Another comments that a modest girl is much hotter than a girl selling her body. How does dressing in a way that makes you feel pretty and that shows off your body make you a whore? I wear tank tops, shorts, and skirts, and believe me, I feel much prettier in that than an ankle length denim skirt.

“people finaly reallized!!!” Realized what? That you should hide your body because of what other people might think? I think it’s that someone might find you attractive and hit on you. Thing is, when someone hits on you, it makes you feel more attractive. Are we all supposed to await a man/woman who isn’t interested in sex at all? Example: “trufuly good guys feel akward around a imodest girl!!” Good guys can’t be sexually aroused by a girl wearing tight clothes? Not to say you can’t be modest and still be sexual, but most people who are comfortable with themselves are comfortable to be with a partner. And people who cover up their beautiful  bodies means they probably aren’t that comfortable. Example: “haha, ino right?!? i mean, how do they feel somfortable in those things? i dont even feel comfortable in my own swim suit”

Whatever gives you confidence and makes you feel good about yourself is the hottest. Don’t go out and by short shorts for attention, and don’t be afraid to wear a tank top. Wear whatever you want because you want to. Not because it’s immoral or moral.

It is my saddest obligation to inform the few people that read my blog that Panic At The Disco has now officially broken up. Brendon and Spencer are still in the band. As a child of this generation, it’s expected to go on social networking sites. And occasionally, I’ll accidentally accept a friend request of someone I think I know.  About thirty seconds after they get a notification saying they’re now my friend I’ll recieve a message saying “Hey Sexy.”  To which I’ll often reply “Hey? Do I know you?” And after that they’ll say something stupid, my favorite being, “No, wanna bang?” Sometimes, depending on my mood, I’ll delete them, and spare them a lecture. Other times though. Here’s how one of my conversations went.

Internet perv: Wanna bang?

Me: Um… No. Learn some respect, I wouldn’t be interested in you even if I knew you.

IP: Common babe, I’m huge. ;]

Me: Talk to me again, and I’ll report you to the site. Go show your mom what you’ve been doing on the internet.

IP: F*ck you! *Blocked forever*

What I notice is the second I show I’m not interested in “cybering” they get all defensive, and trying to defend their man hood, thinking it’s something personally against them. Almost like they expect I should because I might have sex one day. Another conversation I had went like this

Creepy Guy: I’d totally do you.

Me: Don’t talk to me anymore, please. Go wash your mouth out.

CG: Well excuse me, your picture is a little suggestive, what’d you expect?

Me: I expect to be treated as a person. Go get bent.

CG: Sorry beautiful.

Me: Don’t call me beautiful. It’s not a compliment after the conversation we just had.

CG: Why?

Me: I’m not here to look good for you, and I have a name.

CG: Whatever. Go f*ck yourself. *Blocked forever*

He expects me to take his compliment after he clearly just disrespected me and I clearly got pissed about it? Guys all over the internet world think I’m expected to like them back, or send them nudes. And this kind of harassment has to stop, because over the internet, it can be anyone talking to me, and often makes me feel more violated than street harassment.  I don’t see how I’m supposed to feel grateful to them and virtually put out for them. Girls have gotta stand up for themselves instead of just saying “Um…” Say it’s bothering you, and be careful who you talk to.

Today one of my best friend’s mothers passed away. We are all very sorry for her loss and hope she can fair through this. She died of ovarian cancer. I hope that all of her family can pull through this. I’m also sorry for anyone who has lost someone who meaned a lot to them. I’ve known her mother since third grade and have been extremely close to her. Once again, rest in peace MB. <3

Nothing for me to analyze. Typical teenage rise up over awful girl, savvy? Yeah, I’m not big on it either, but hey… Remember the name signifigance!

As you all know, there are some serious gay issues. This morning my brother linked me to a web page that was so hurtful on so many levels. Riot is too upset to blog much. I decided that everyone should read this. See who’s really ruining this country.

I used to think the reason people became substitute teachers when they were 69 was because they were too lazy to complete school. I realize now that there’s a reason that some don’t have teaching liscenses. Today I had a substitute teacher who was JUST A PEACH. I’m pretty sure he made me constrew at least 3 different shocked faces. We were doing an assignment on leadership qualities. And as most old teachers do- they tend to run off into pointless stories. This story began with him coaching track. With a black guy. Failing to see the relevancy? You won’t for long. Well, after a few moments he began talking about this man dating a white woman. One day his friend said “How would you feel if your daughter dated a black man?” And the sub’s winning response was “I’d trust her to do what was right… Under her judgment. But I wouldn’t advise her to under any circumstance.” Then he rambled saying “Yes. We got into quite the tussel.” Later in the conversation (for some reason I think he was trying to gain points for knowing a black guy, cause he kept bringing him up. Anyway- later in the conversation he said “Charles,” (Charles is the black friend) “Ended up joining the Mormon Church. I don’t know if that means anything to you, but it does to me.”

Needless to say- the looks I shared with my friends around the classroom were dismayed. Thank you school system for letting that guy teach us. Thank you so so much. Oh, and still don’t see any relevancy with the black guy to a project on leadership? Me neither!

Today I’ll blog about two men who have greatly affected this country. Both men have said inspiring things. Our hats are off to you.

I think there’s something remarkable about my favorite music also being a hilarious tv show. Flight Of The Conchords- Most Beautiful Girl In The Room.

I also really appreciate that the first three of her job options for being a beautiful girl were “Waitress or hostess or a part-time model. But you’d probably have to keep your regular job.” Flight Of The Conchords Season 2 is highly anticipated by Riot. For anyone offended by the lyrics- I assure you- it is a comedy.
